British Fencing is pleased to announce the addition of a new date for SafeGuard Core workshop in January 2024.
Due to the high demand for SafeGuard courses, we have scheduled an additional session on Sunday, 7th January, from 09:00 to 12:00

What Is SafeGuard Core?
SafeGuard Core is a bespoke safeguarding training course for fencing, replacing the England and Wales specific UK Coaching safeguarding training that BF previously accepted until July 2023.
The workshop will be delivered through a virtual classroom and will take three hours.
Who should attend Core?
Registered and in-training Coaches, Welfare Officers and Team Managers in England and Wales who need to renew their safeguarding certificates or attend the course for the first time.
Please note: Core is not the only course required for Welfare Officers to become registered; they will also have to meet further requirements to do so.
