BF Learning Week 2025 will take place between the 18th and 22nd August 2025. The timetable will be released shortly with online learning opportunities across a variety of subjects, and periodically updated as more events are confirmed.
BF Learning Week is an annual opportunity for our members and wider community to join online developmental and informative sessions in subjects from coaching to community development. Due to the work being made in the para and seated fencing spaces, such as the SwordSeat™, the aim for this year is to focus on accessibility and disability inclusion.
Chris Turner, BF Coaching & Workforce Development Manager, said:
“I’m delighted to announce Learning Week 2025. Whilst the focus is on accessibility and disability inclusion, we will have a wide range of informative sessions to support you. Regardless of the role you play to support fencing, whether you’re a club official, referee, fencer, supporter or coach, I’m confident that Learning Week will have something for you.”

“I’m really happy to have this opportunity to share the innovations and opportunities we have been building in this space over the last year since the Cardiff World Cup and the Paris Paralympics. With the development of SwordSeat especially, we’re at a very exciting time.”
