Entries close on November 22nd for the Sport and Recreational Alliance annual awards, including a new category of ‘Inspiration of the Year’.
From the Sport and Recreational Alliance:
Clubs and organisations across the country are being invited to enter the Community Sport and Recreation Awards 2022 – and the deadline is fast approaching.
The Sport and Recreation Alliance’s annual awards programme will celebrate projects and initiatives in areas such as sustainability, mental health and volunteering at a glittering awards ceremony in March next year.
The Inspiration of the Year category has been introduced this year and you or someone you know in our fencing community could be the award’s first ever winner!
The award, which is free to enter, recognises individuals in the sport and recreation sector who have inspired others through the support they have provided to their community during the past 12 months.
If successful, the individual will collect their trophy from HRH The Earl of Wessex and their club will receive a £1,000 cash prize.
For more information and to enter, head over to the Sport and Recreation Alliance website and complete the relevant form by Monday 22 November.
