The series of eight videos explores elements of The True Athlete Project’s collaboration with British Fencing. Watch how our GBR athletes have embedded a socially conscious, whole-person approach into their pathway journeys.
TAP Speaks: with British Fencing is a series of eight videos that explore different elements of the approach, from applying mindfulness on the piste to mentoring the next generation. The videos feature interviews with athletes who speak about their experiences of elements of the programme and the impact the approach is having on their development.

We want athletes to feel like they can creatively explore what it means to be an athlete, to re-imagine what is possible through sport, and in turn, build compassionate sporting environments that positively impact the wider world. British Fencing is a fantastic example of an organisation prepared to walk-the-walk when it comes to fostering a healthy and caring culture of sport.”
