BF Board approves updates to the BF Disciplinary Code which will come into effect from 1st January 2024.
From 1st January 2024 a new Disciplinary Code will come into operation.
This new Code sets out simplified processes to deal with straight forward items, formalising the process for the informal mediation, black card and fast track cases.
There is very little change to the full disciplinary process, the updates are intended to set out the process more clearly.
The intention is to supplement this Code with diagrams to make the process easier to follow.
In addition the Disciplinary Code now links with the Sport Integrity process which is a condition of funding.
All alleged breaches of BF Codes of Conduct after 1st January 2024 will be dealt with under this Code.
