Following Hilary Philbin’s decision to step down as BF President to focus on her EFC Executive Committee role, the BF Board welcomes applications for the position of BF President, closing date noon 7th October 2024.
In accordance with the Articles of British Fencing (73.) the President is appointed by the Board after open competition, subject to the approval of that appointment at the next AGM.
Any candidate wishing to be considered for the role should send a CV and covering letter to [email protected] copied to [email protected]. Closing Date noon 7th October 2024.
Candidates are strongly encouraged to read the description of the role of president of BF, paying particular attention to the person specification.
It is the aim of the Board to complete the open competition process prior to the 2024 AGM.
It is expected that interviews will take place 8th-10th October 2024*.
