Is this camp for me?
As with previous GBR Pathway wheelchair camps, there are no specific selection criteria for participants; you do not need to have attended any previous camps in order to come to this one, nor do you need to have any form of classification. We ask that you come prepared to work hard over the course of the camp and use it as an opportunity to meet and learn from other wheelchair fencers.
What should I bring?
Food:
You will need to bring food for lunch each day, there is no food available to buy onsite.
Equipment:
If you have any questions or support needs regarding the below, please get in touch. We will be able to source kit and chairs if required, but please let us know as soon as possible. In particular, if you have your own fencing chair, you should bring this along so you can train with familiar equipment and allow loaner chairs to be distributed to those who need them the most.
Accommodation
Travel and accommodation is the sole responsibility of the fencer: there are several hotels nearby, many of which have accessible rooms, but we encourage you to contact them directly to discuss your needs.
If you have any other questions regarding the camp, please email [email protected].
