Full Squad and Team Officials for U17/20 European Championships

British Fencing is pleased to announce the athletes selected to represent Great Britain at the Cadet and Junior European Championships in Hungary, 26^th February – 7^th March.  The team will be led by Alan Rapley and Patricia Aiyenuro;  a list of the selected athletes, team officials and personal coaches can be found here.

Speaking about the team, Chair of the International Youth Committee, Clare Halsted said; “This is a strong team despite many members making their GB debut.  Six of the cadets  made top eight finishes this season including three medals.  Jonathan Webb leads the way as he goes into the European Cadet Championships ranked fifth.  He is also part of a strong cadet men’s sabre team and the junior men’s foil team should not be underestimated.  We have an experienced and committed management team who will bring the fencers together for a preparation camp on 17^th February at Brunel University.  Good luck to everyone.”
